Borussia Dortmund president Reinhard Rauball confirmed Marc Bartra’s surgey on an injured wrist went well.
Batra’s wrist surgery went well after the defender was injured in the explosion that appeared to target the team bus ahead of their tie with Monaco.
The match was postponed and re-arranged for 18:45 local time on Wednesday , Dortmund have commenced training ahead of the game this evening.
Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke has called on Dortmund players to see the incident as a motivation and is assured the team will play well today.
“The team and the coaches are of course in shock, We must now channel it in some way,He told sky.
“It will not be easy to get it out of our mind. In such a crisis situation, all of Borussia Dortmund will pull together. I think the team will feel it tomorrow.”
