Mourinho has revealed that United’s summer transfer business is in the hands of Ed Woodward saying that his targets have been made known for two months.
Their Europa League win against Ajax means they are back in the Champions League for next season.
Antoine Griezmann has emerged as a top target for United as they are said to be willing to activate his £86m release clause.
United may be forced into replacing David De Gea as Real Madrid have made the Spaniard their top target.
When questioned on United’s transfer business, Jose Mourinho told BT Sport:
‘Ed Woodward has what I want, what I would like for more than two months.
Now it’s for him, now for the owners and the people who work with him, so I just wait.
‘But I don’t care about football for now.’
