RB Leipzig have reportedly rejected £57m Liverpool bid for midfielder Naby Keïta.
The 22-year-old was one of the most outstanding young players in the Bundesliga last season.
Jurgen Klopp wants to strengthen his midfield and he sees Keita as an ideal addition to the team but that won’t come cheap.
According to Sport Bild , Liverpool have seen a £57million bid rejected by Leipzig which would have been a world record transfer for Liverpool.
Klopp earlier revealed today that he is relaxed over the lack of transfer activity.
‘I can’t help, sorry. We cannot only buy players because other teams buy players,’ Klopp said.
‘We do our business as good as we can do it and we are completely in it and we are convinced about the way that we are going so that’s all.
‘Nervous fans? Sorry I cannot help, I don’t have to write a message for this. I’m not nervous, maybe that’s the right message for this.’
