“The Sesko one I do think is an option for the summer,” he said. “After that, you look towards different profiles like Gyokeres and players of that ilk, but I don’t think that is one that Arsenal have been prioritising for the style, and I don’t think Viktor Gyokeres is prioritising Arsenal either.”

However, their interest depends on Alexander Isak’s future. If Isak leaves the Premier League club, Gyokeres could serve as a like-for-like replacement.
According to TEAMtalk, bidding for the 25-year-old Isak would likely start at £115m, which would set a British record.
Liverpool is described as the ‘most persistent suitors’ for the Newcastle forward, who has scored 17 goals in 24 appearances for the Magpies this season.
Isak’s current Newcastle contract runs until June 2028, with a valuation around £63.4m according to Transfermarkt, though Eddie Howe’s side would likely demand a higher fee.
Gyokeres, meanwhile, is under contract with Sporting until June 2028 and has a release clause of £83.16m, per BBC Sport.
