Manchester United are on the verge of finalizing their second signing this month, as the club is set to acquire another top talent from a Premier League rival.

Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu is Amorim’s preferred target for the left wing-back position, and he is making a strong push for United to sign him.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Amorim is also set to add a centre-back to his squad.
Romano has confirmed Ayden Heaven’s move to Manchester United with his trademark ‘here we go,’ indicating that the 18-year-old will leave Arsenal.
A medical examination has been scheduled after Heaven turned down a new contract from Arsenal and an offer from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Romano also mentioned that an agreement is being finalized.
Heaven began his youth career at West Ham United before joining Arsenal’s academy.
He occasionally trained with the first-team squad during the 2023/24 season.
Heaven was involved with Mikel Arteta’s squad during pre-season ahead of the new campaign and was one of three young players, alongside Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, praised by Arteta.
He was on the bench for the North London derby against Tottenham and made his Arsenal debut against Preston North End.
Another report suggests that Heaven is considered a first-team signing for Manchester United and will provide competition and cover for Lisandro Martinez, who has made 19 Premier League appearances this season.
The promising youngster can also play as a midfielder.
If the deal goes through, it would mark the second player Manchester United have taken from Arsenal, having already signed Danish forward Chido Obi-Martin.
