The 23-year-old signed a long-term contract for eight years, with an option for an additional season, and has since become a key figure under Enzo Maresca.
To date, Caicedo has featured in 107 matches for Chelsea, scoring six goals.
The Ecuadorian midfielder has added the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup to his trophy cabinet during his time at the club.
On Monday, Caicedo caused confusion by posting a statement on his social media, which was later deleted.

As reported by talkSPORT, the statement revealed that the midfielder had parted ways with his agent, with the announcement coming via his legal representative.
The message indicated that Caicedo is no longer working with Manuel Sierra of Football Division Worldwide.
It read: “Chelsea Football Club star Moises Caicedo has separated from and is no longer represented by his former agent Manuel Sierra of Football Division Worldwide and he is not represented by Ali Barat of Epic.
“The contract ended on August 14, 2025, and the player has now appointed people he can trust.”
The report also noted that Sierra had represented Caicedo during his transfer from Brighton to Chelsea two years ago.
After being described as the best holding midfielder in the world by former Chelsea player John Obi Mikel, Caicedo responded: “I could name a lot of players, and I just want to work hard and do my best for my country.
“I don’t like to say that I’m the best in the world; let the people say it. Thank you for the compliment, and it makes me work even harder.”
Caicedo is expected to return to action this weekend as Chelsea continue their 25/26 Premier League season with a trip to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday.
