The Manchester United full-back, who joined the Championship club on loan in September, is set to extend his stay.
The 18-year-old wonderkid scored his first senior goal against Southampton recently and has enjoyed a productive loan spell in Yorkshire, despite Sheffield Wednesday’s financial challenges.
Since joining the team at Hillsborough, the United prospect has featured in every Championship fixture and completed the full 90 minutes in each of the last 10 matches.

The England under-19 international has made a strong impression in his early senior career.
United brought Amass on board in August 2023 following his development years at Watford. The club is pleased with his progress on loan, prompting the decision to extend his time with the Championship side, as first reported by the BBC.
Sheffield Wednesday are confident that Amass has made notable strides during his initial months at the club.
Manager Henrik Pedersen has spoken highly of Amass’ impact. The Championship coach believes the young defender has proven he can match up against the league’s top talent, according to the Mirror.
In a conversation with the Sheffield Star, Pedersen said of Amass: “The young man who came into Sheffield Wednesday and the young man who just left the stadium today are two different humans.
“And they are two different players. His progression has been amazing and, for a young player like Harry, he came with a lot of energy, but then the Championship always come knocking with three games in a row.
“It is tough, but he keeps on playing. This week, against West Brom, against Norwich, against Southampton, he showed against three good teams that he can compete with them.
“It’s not only that he can compete but he can be dominant in some phases. So I think he has done a big development as a player and what I see is a young man who has started to have a big knowledge about himself as a human – who he wants to be, who he doesn’t want to be.
“He has started to control when his mood comes down to be more stable. I see a young guy who has started to be physically stronger. He runs more, he has started to sprint more, he has more accelerations and he starts to have smaller breaks in the game. He has started to be better between the phases of the game.
“I like him. He is a good boy, he is a good player and he loves to learn. We love to have him here.”
