United have allegedly decided to probe into the matter, starting with questioning Amad and Garnacho.

Last week, Garnacho’s brother, Roberto, denied on social media that he was behind several team news leaks that surfaced before United’s games.

Previous managers, including Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Erik ten Hag, also had their team selections leaked on social media before official announcements. Amorim, who took over as United manager in November, is determined to put an end to this.

Amorim addressed the team news leaks after leading United to a 2-1 win at Manchester City on Sunday—a match in which Garnacho was omitted from the squad, and Amad scored the decisive goal.

‘I know that story, I think it is impossible to fix,’ Amorim said. ‘You have a lot of people in the club, the players talk with agents, it is not a good thing.’

In previous instances, team news has leaked when Garnacho was excluded from the lineup, as seen in the 2-1 victory over City.

However, after discussing the matter with both Garnacho and Amad, Amorim is convinced that neither player is responsible for the leaks.

Amad delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday, securing a late penalty for his team and subsequently scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute at the Etihad.

‘He can play different positions, he is very humble,’ Amorim said about Amad after the Manchester derby triumph.

‘We have to be very careful with Amad because sometimes in our club we put young players in a special place. Let’s stay calm with Amad.’

Meanwhile, Roy Keane expressed his concerns about Amad and hopes the player remains humble after his standout performance against Pep Guardiola’s team.
