Jude Bellingham could be facing issues with Carlo Ancelotti after he ignored the Real Madrid manager’s phone call.
Ancelotti told reporters he “got angry with Bellingham” over the weekend. The Madrid coach explained: “I called him, but he didn’t answer, so I asked Vinicius to call him, and he answered.”

Although Ancelotti may have “got angry” at Bellingham’s initial behavior, the Madrid star will likely be relieved that his coach appears to be able to see the humor in the situation.
While other managers might have misinterpreted Bellingham’s lack of response, Don Carlo is known for his calm demeanor.
Bellingham, still on vacation following his performance at Euro 2024, is expected to return for the UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta on August 14.
The relationship between Bellingham and Ancelotti has generally been positive since the England international joined the team last summer. However, there have been some rough patches.
Bellingham was controversially benched early last season, and his strong personality sometimes leads to clashes with other players.
It’s likely any tension between the two will be resolved before Madrid’s next pre-season game, against Chelsea at the Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina.
