Mikel Arteta has urged Bukayo Saka to replicate his idol Cristiano Ronaldo’s success and enhance a crucial aspect of his performance.
Saka’s recent stellar performances for Arsenal have seen him score seven goals in his last six matches, including Monday’s game against Sheffield United.

Nevertheless, Arteta is confident that Saka can elevate his performance in terms of scoring goals.
Saka, inspired by Ronaldo, admired his transition from a skilled winger to one of the most prolific goal scorers in the history of the game.
And when he was asked if Saka should be looking to learn from Ronaldo’s scoring prowess, Arteta said: “I hope he is doing that because he can become much better.
“He can get in better positions still. His finishing, especially with certain circumstances, has to improve and his timing as well. So he can do better.”
Before the mid-season break in January, Saka had encountered difficulties in scoring goals, managing to find the net only once in seven games leading up to Arsenal’s journey to Dubai.
Arteta added: “Is he being more efficient? The answer is yes and the impact that has had on the team in the last seven, or eight games has been really good.
“But [before the mid-season break] his overall play was still really high.”
Arsenal’s title pursuit has regained momentum with six consecutive wins.
A victory against Sheffield United would narrow the gap to leaders Liverpool to just two points, and put them one point behind second-placed City.
Arteta stated that this season’s title winner will likely require a minimum of 90 points, ahead of the crucial City-Liverpool clash at Anfield on Sunday.
“There are a lot of games and we are all going to have crazy schedules and this league might be different to last season,” the Spaniard said. “Anything under 90 points would be very difficult.
“The way I see them [Arsenal] training every day gives me more confidence to believe we have a good chance because they really want it.”
