More than three years after arriving at the club, Demebele has failed to impress, playing just nine games this campaign for the catalans – just five of those coming as starts.
All in all he has 74 appearances and 19 goals at Barcelona, but given the financial issues during the coronavirus crisis, the club are keen to clear some room in their wage budget as he currently earns £200,000 per week wages.

The 23-year-old has suffered an hamstring problem that has kept him out for most of the season after picking it up in November. But even before this, he was struggling for game time and form.
