reportedly open to parting ways with the Brazilian winger this summer if they receive an offer in the region of €80 million (£69.4 million), as per sources in Spain.
Raphinha has played a crucial part in the team’s success so far, contributing 25 goals and 15 assists across La Liga and the Champions League. He currently has two years left on his existing deal, and initial discussions about an extension are underway.
However, Catalunya Radio reports that negotiations have hit a roadblock, as Raphinha’s camp is pushing for a pay rise that Barcelona are reluctant to meet.
According to the same report, sporting director Deco has floated the idea of selling the 28-year-old to a club willing to meet both the transfer fee—estimated between €80m and €90m (£69.4m–£78.1m)—and the player’s wage expectations.
It’s also noted that Raphinha has received interest from the Saudi Pro League, but he has no intention of making a move there before the 2026 World Cup.
Barcelona are reportedly considering including a buyout clause in any new deal that would be within reach for interested clubs.
This situation could potentially revive interest from Premier League sides like Arsenal and Chelsea, who were both keen on signing Raphinha from Leeds United in 2022.
Arsenal’s then-sporting director, Edu, had contacted Deco—who represented Raphinha at the time—regarding a move.
Chelsea, meanwhile, had agreed a £55m fee with Leeds, but Raphinha ultimately chose to join the Catalan giants.
Both clubs are believed to still be in the market for a dynamic and versatile forward ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
