Playing in front of their home crowd at Camp Nou, Barcelona delivered an energetic display to overcome Alaves.
A quick strike from Lamine Yamal, along with two goals from Dani Olmo, secured a 3–1 win. Pablo Ibanez had initially put Alaves ahead in the opening minute.
With this result, Barcelona now sit two points clear of Madrid at the top of the La Liga ladder.
Following the game, a clip circulated on social media that seemed to show Barcelona winger Raphinha talking with Flick on the bench.
In the footage, Flick appeared visibly moved while Raphinha spoke with his coach, who was also seen shaking his head.
One supporter commented online: “Raphinha seems to be comforting a teary-eyed Hansi Flick.”
Another wrote: “That Hansi Flick video reeled me back in. Till death, I will by your side.”
A third fan remarked: “It’s time to fully back Hansi Flick! He restored our excitement after years of decline, and if he goes, it would be a huge mistake. Given the team’s state, the club’s situation, it’s understandable he’s worn out.”
Someone else posted: “Raphinha comforting Hansi Flick after their match today. What is going on behind the scenes?”
Speaking post-match, Flick stated: “In the first half, we had many scoring opportunities, and in the second as well. I’m pleased with the three points, but we still have a lot of progress to make.”
Meanwhile, Raphinha commented: “A perfect afternoon with a victory and on the club’s anniversary. They surprised us in the first minute, but we were able to control the match. Playing here is something special.”
Barcelona will return to La Liga action next week against Atletico Madrid, with the match set for Tuesday night at Camp Nou.
