Bayern Munich players have aimed private criticisms at Sadio Mane after his arrival from Liverpool, with the winger’s body language a problem among his team-mates, according to reports.
Mane has been fined £260,000 by Bayern Munich following the alleged altercation with Leroy Sane after last week’s defeat to Manchester City.
It is unclear whether he will make an appearance in the second leg, despite the altercation having been ‘resolved’ according to Thomas Tuchel.
The former Liverpool star has yet to hit the heights which he achieved at Anfield, as his contribution of just 11 goals has fallen below what was expected of him, with no goals for Bayern since October.
But, the main source of concern has been revealed to be his body language, with his attitude reportedly being critiqued privately by players.
This is according to Sky Germany, with journalist Florian Plettenberg revealing how the pre-World Cup injury which ruled him out of the competition has affected the player.
It has been claimed the setback has impacted his attributes which made him a key player for Liverpool and Senegal in recent years.
It has also been reported that private conversations have taken place between club chiefs, which means Mane could be sold this summer.
The update comes after Mane and Sane appeared to argue in the closing stages of their 3-0 loss last week, which leaves Thomas Tuchel’s side with a huge mountain to climb for the second leg in Germany next week.
Reports claimed the situation between the duo escalated in the dressing room, leading to an altercation in which Sane sustained a cut lip.
Upon the squad’s arrival back in Munich, it has been suggested Sane continued his journey on the team bus, while Mane left separately.
