Enzo Maresca is set to take over as the manager of Chelsea following his recent appointment by the Premier League club.

With financial restructuring on the horizon, Stamford Bridge is likely to see several player exits.
One player potentially on the move is goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who spent the previous season on loan at Real Madrid.
Reports suggest that Arrizabalaga may not return to Chelsea unless he is assured a fair opportunity to compete for his spot in the team.
A source told London World: “He is expected to hold talks with the manager but he has one year left on his deal and doesn’t want to spend it just being on the bench in London.
“The entire case with Madrid is not closed but it all depends on what Chelsea want to do and of course how the talks with the new manager go because normally in football when there is a new boss everyone gets a fresh start.”
It appears that Kepa Arrizabalaga may not be the starting goalkeeper for Chelsea next season, as the new manager has expressed a preference for Robert Sanchez.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on the Italian manager’s admiration for Sanchez, who is seen as having the potential to elevate his game under Maresca’s mentorship.
With Maresca eager to work with Sanchez, it seems unlikely that Kepa will secure a starting position. Chelsea is also planning a significant squad revamp, with Kepa among several players expected to leave as his contract nears its end.
The club is looking to offload players like Romelu Lukaku, Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, and Malang Sarr to generate funds.
This move is part of Chelsea’s strategy to manage their finances and comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules in the upcoming transfer window.
