BREAKING: Arsenal want Allegri or Luis Enrique to be next manager

Arsenal want Massimiliano Allegri or Luis Enrique to be the next manager after Arsene Wenger but both have concerns about taking the job because of their management structure, according to Sky Sports.

Arsene Wenger bid an emotion farewell to the Emirates on Sunday ahead of his exit this summer and Arsenal are already on the lookout for the next manager.

Arsenal appointed a head of football relations [Raul Sanllehi] and a head of recruitment (Sven Mislintat) last season and the new manager would have to work with both of them.

Allegri has two years left on his contract at Juventus and he looks set to lead the Old Ladies to a fourth consecutive Serie A title this season.

The Italian is the favourite to take over from Wenger, while Carlo Ancelotti and Liverpool assistant coach Zeljko Buvac are also being considered.

Former Barcelona manager Enrique is ready to return to football after taking one year off after his departure from the Nou Camp last season.

Mikel Arteta has also been touted as a possible candidate. The former Arsenal midfielder is working as an assistant to City head coach Pep Guardiola.
