Brentford mocks Arsenal player on TikTok after Premier League clash

Arsenal sustained their title chase with a last-minute triumph over Brentford, who later criticized an Arsenal player’s alleged dive on social media.

Arsenal is contending with Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League championship in a close contest.

With a pivotal match between City and Liverpool at Anfield, Arsenal seized the chance to stay competitive, building on their previous season’s runner-up finish.

Declan Rice, a new addition from West Ham, scored early for Arsenal, but Brentford’s Yoane Wissa equalized after a blunder by goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The game seemed destined for a draw until Kai Havertz, another recent signing, scored the decisive goal.

However, controversy ensued as Havertz, already cautioned, was accused of simulation by Brentford, who believed he should have been sent off before scoring the winning goal.

Brentford’s manager, Thomas Frank, insisted post-match that Havertz should have been red-carded for the dive.

He told Sky Sports: “I actually don’t think Havertz should be on the pitch when he scored. It was a clear dive.

“Maybe it is difficult for the ref but the linesman should have seen it.”

Brentford mocked Havertz on social media with a TikTok video, suggesting he took a dive, backed by ghostly tunes.

Despite the match loss, their portrayal of the event has sparked discussions. Check out the video and decide for yourself.
