Bukayo Saka holds a prominent position on the Arsenal team sheet, underscoring his elevated status at the club, which is mirrored in his substantial salary.
As an England international, Saka has achieved stardom in north London, progressing through the club’s academy to become one of the Premier League’s standout talents.

In the previous season, Saka played a pivotal role in Arsenal’s title pursuit, contributing with 14 goals and 11 assists, although the team ultimately fell short in the closing weeks against Manchester City.
Despite a potential dip in form from the heights of the previous campaign, there is no doubt that Saka remains crucial to Arsenal’s aspirations of competing with City and Liverpool for this season’s Premier League title.
According to The Athletic, Saka’s existing contract yields a weekly salary of approximately £300,000 at Arsenal, inclusive of bonuses. This translates to an annual income of around £15 million, making him the highest-paid player at the club.
In May 2023, Saka inked a contract extension, committing to Arsenal until 2027. If he fulfills the entirety of this contract with his boyhood club, he stands to earn approximately £60 million for his services.
Saka’s current salary marks a substantial increase from the £70,000 per week he earned under his previous contract, signed in 2020. His noteworthy performances in north London resulted in a threefold boost to his wage packet.
Speaking after securing his long-term future at the Emirates, Saka said: ‘I’m just really happy, I’m at the right place to make the next step.
‘It’s a beautiful club and I’m just so happy. When I was at the academy at Hale End, I was just a kid who wanted to play and enjoy, and obviously as you get older it gets more and more serious.
‘It’s been a great journey with lots of hard work and I just kept that drive in me. When I made my first team debut, that’s when I really realised like: ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve really done it.’
‘I’ve achieved that dream and it’s now about staying here and maintaining that.’
Despite Saka’s substantial salary, it falls below the £350,000 per week that established Mesut Ozil as the highest-paid player in the club’s history back in 2018.
Having entered Arsenal’s academy at the age of seven, Saka made his inaugural first-team appearance in November 2018 during a Europa League group stage match against Vorskla Poltava.
Saka marked another milestone in January 2019 when he made his Premier League debut, becoming the first player born in 2001 to feature in the competition.
