Jamie Carragher has disclosed his opinion on who he believes has been the superior manager between Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti throughout their careers.
Supporters of Chelsea have had the privilege of witnessing both individuals lead the team from the sidelines at Stamford Bridge, with the duo collectively securing the Premier League title four times.

When asked to choose between Mourinho or Ancelotti, Carragher told Sky Sports: “Carlo is my mate he used to live around the corner from me.”
“Ancelotti is on four Champions Leagues now ,for what Jose did at Porto and winning it at Inter Milan, who very rarely win the Champions League, I’m going to go with Jose.”
Mourinho has enjoyed two distinct periods with the London club and is widely regarded as the greatest manager in the history of Chelsea.
While the prospect of a third stint in west London seems improbable, his name was enthusiastically chanted by supporters during last weekend’s 2-2 draw against Brentford.
Ancelotti’s tenure at Stamford Bridge deserved to be more prolonged. He achieved a remarkable double in his debut season and became the first Italian manager to secure the Premier League title.
Following that success, he led the team to a second-place finish in the subsequent season but was relieved of his duties by Roman Abramovich.
Currently at the helm of Real Madrid, Ancelotti is poised to clinch La Liga, with his team leading the table, and remains a contender in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Mourinho finds himself without a job after being dismissed by AS Roma earlier this season. It remains to be seen whether the renowned Portuguese coach will take on a new managerial role this summer.
