Chelsea agree record deadline day transfer via award-winning agent

Chelsea appear poised to finalize a high-profile transfer just before the 7pm transfer deadline on Monday, with super agent Ali Barat playing a key role in orchestrating the move.

most active sellers of the summer window.

The club has generated approximately £310 million through player sales, parting ways with a long list of names including Kepa Arrizabalaga, Basir Humphreys, Noni Madueke, Marcus Bettinelli, Mathis Amougou, Djordje Petrovic, João Félix, Ishe Samuels-Smith, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Armando Broja, Lesley Ugochukwu, Renato Veiga, Alfie Gilchrist, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Christopher Nkunku.

The exits of Madueke, Amougou, Dewsbury-Hall, and Nkunku have been instrumental in clearing space for Chelsea’s new arrivals, a necessary step to meet UEFA’s squad registration requirements for the Champions League.

Nkunku sealed a move to AC Milan earlier in the week for a reported £36 million including performance-based bonuses, while Nicolas Jackson is also expected to leave shortly, with his agent Diomansy Kramara publicly confirming the likelihood of a transfer.

“30 goals in two seasons without a single penalty. Ups and downs, but a page is turning at the Blues,” he said to WiW Sports on Tuesday.

“Still grateful for yesterday, but already looking toward tomorrow, with optimism. Germany, Italy, England: the options are numerous, the decision is imminent. Thank you for the support, we see your messages, Nicolas Jackson, transfer expected within 48 hours, In shaa Allah.”

With just hours remaining before the transfer window closes, it now appears that Nicolas Jackson is set to join Bayern Munich following a prolonged negotiation period.

The Senegalese forward is expected to line up alongside elite striker Harry Kane in a Bayern squad brimming with talent and widely tipped to secure yet another Bundesliga crown under the leadership of Vincent Kompany, the former Manchester City captain.

On Saturday morning, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany reported that Jackson will make the switch to Bayern on a loan deal worth £13 million—a record-breaking fee for a temporary move—with a purchase option of approximately £56 million slated for 2026.

The transfer was facilitated by agent Ali Barat, who played a crucial role in bridging the gap between the clubs, aiding Chelsea in streamlining their roster while landing Jackson a high-profile opportunity.

Chelsea had initially considered bringing Jackson back to Stamford Bridge following Liam Delap’s injury setback.

However, they opted instead to recall Marc Guiu from his loan spell at Sunderland, paving the way for Jackson’s desired move to Germany, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.

Jackson, 24, registered 13 goals and six assists across 37 matches for Chelsea last season, including a memorable goal in the Conference League final against Real Betis.

Despite a dip in form—scoring only once in the Premier League since January—Chelsea managed to negotiate the most lucrative loan deal ever for a player struggling to find consistency.
