According to Foot Mercato, Chelsea are the frontrunners for Olise, as they are prepared to activate his €70 million release clause to begin Enzo Maresca’s tenure at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United are reportedly unwilling to meet Crystal Palace’s release clause for Olise, considering it an overpayment given that his contract runs until the summer of 2027.
Bayern Munich and Newcastle are also open to personal talks with Olise, but Chelsea are confident of finalizing the deal this summer.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Oliver Glasner’s side have offered Olise a new contract with a higher wage and an increased release clause for this summer.
However, it remains uncertain if he will accept it.
Despite a stellar Premier League season, Didier Deschamps did not select Olise for the French national team for the Euros in Germany. This could expedite a transfer deal for Olise.
