two sides are ‘capable’ of taking the Premier League title from Liverpool this season.

Liverpool cruised to the Premier League title last season with a commanding ten-point lead and look poised to defend their crown after an impressive summer of recruitment.

The Merseyside giants splashed out more than £400 million to reinforce Arne Slot’s squad, bringing in high-profile additions such as Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, and Jeremie Frimpong.

Although Liverpool haven’t hit top gear in the early weeks of the new season, they remain the only team in the league with a flawless record after three matches.

Hamann has identified Arsenal as Liverpool’s main challenger for the title, while also tipping Chelsea as a serious contender.

Arsenal kicked off their campaign with two wins but stumbled to a narrow 1-0 loss against Liverpool just before the international break.

Like their rivals, the Gunners were active in the transfer market, securing key signings including Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, and Noni Madueke to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Chelsea, under new boss Enzo Maresca, sit second in the table after collecting seven points from three London derby fixtures. Fresh off a Club World Cup triumph, the Blues have added more than ten new faces to their roster.

Hamann believes the title race will be a battle between Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea, and has cast doubt on Manchester City’s ability to reclaim the trophy.

Despite a strong start against Wolves, City’s familiar vulnerabilities resurfaced in back-to-back defeats to Tottenham and Brighton.

‘Arsenal are the biggest threat to Liverpool in the title race,’ Hamann told CoinPoker.

‘With the signings of Eberechi Eze and Piero Hincapie, they now have a fantastic squad. They fielded a brilliant team against Liverpool even with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard not able to start.

‘I expect Arsenal to be the main contender. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea turned it into a three-horse race.

‘They are a dangerous side, capable of winning six, seven, or eight games in a row.

‘I don’t believe Manchester City can do that, but Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea are the only teams I think are capable of such a run.’
