Estevao is highly regarded as the next major talent from Brazil, with industry experts consistently praising him.
He recently spoke with former Chelsea defender Thiago Silva after facing Fluminense, where Silva praised Chelsea to the young talent.
In the interview, the attacking midfielder shared his preference for a shirt number when he joins Chelsea.
He said: “I don’t have a preference, but I really like 41. If they have 41, it will be cool too.”
He also spoke about his best position and where he likes to play on the pitch.
Estevao added: “I’ve always been a number ten and I went to the wing to have one-on-ones. Of course I respect Abel’s (Ferreira) decision, I know that I’ve enjoyed being on the wing more, but who knows, in the future I’ll play where I feel more comfortable, which is inside.”
