PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona striker Antonie Griezmann are the latest names to be involved in a bust-up after France’s exit from Euro 2020 at the hands of Switzerland.
They were pegged back to 3-3 in the 90th-minute, thanks to a late equaliser from Gavranović, having led 3-1 with 15 minutes to go in the game.
After a goalless extra-time, France were beaten 5-4 on penalties with Mbappe seeing his effort saved.
Scandals have emerged after the game with reported bust-ups between players and families. But recently, the quarrels have hit new heights with Mbappe reported to be ‘jealous’ of Griezmann. And It’s not the first time they have fallen out either.
After just one game at the Euros, Mbappe took over free-kick duty from the Barcelona star, despite having never scored a set-piece in his professional career.
Griezmann, who scored seven free-kicks, during his time at Atletico Madrid was replaced by Mbappe for direct attempts but was also prefered for set-pieces that were ‘intended as crosses’.
But now the saga between both players has taken new twist with L’Equpie reporting a fresh scandal.

The report claims that it was the PSG forward who demanded Benzema was reinstated to the team which affected Griezmann’s influence in the France team.
It goes on to claim Mbappe is ‘jealous’ of Griezmann’s authority and there is a conflict of interest between the duo with the young attacker wanting a greater say in the team.
However, Didier Deschamps was quick to rebuke the scandal claiming the team is still a collective, he said after the Switzerland defeat: “The whole group is united in the dressing room.
“No-one talks about ‘you made this mistake’ or ‘you made that mistake.’ Kylian knows his responsibility.
“Of course, Kylian, even if he didn’t score a goal, he was decisive in many actions that we had, then he took the responsibility to take this penalty and no-one is really angry with him.”
