However, with Amorim now taking charge at Manchester United, speculation has grown that the Swedish forward might follow his former coach to Old Trafford in the near future.

It seems unlikely that Gyökeres will remain at Sporting for much longer, as the 26-year-old’s talent makes him a prime target for top clubs across Europe.
