Erling Haaland called out a specific Chelsea player for ‘stamping’ and ‘pushing’ him throughout Manchester City’s 2-0 victory on Sunday.
He also criticized Marc Cucurella after the Blues defender tried to mock him in a song following Spain’s Euro 2024 win.

Goals from Haaland and Mateo Kovacic at Stamford Bridge secured City’s Premier League title defense with a win.
This victory was particularly meaningful for the prolific Norwegian as he celebrated his 100th appearance for City by scoring his 91st goal for the club.
However, the 24-year-old expressed frustration with one aspect of the match, voicing his displeasure with Chelsea’s players for what he saw as persistent fouling, with Enzo Fernandez being the main target of his ire.

‘All the time he [Fernandez] stamps on me, he pushes me and everything, not only him,’ Haaland told Match of the Day.
‘I don’t know what they want but that’s what they do, I guess.’
Fernandez’s first-half performance was heavily criticized by pundits, including Gary Neville, who said that he and his midfield partners were ‘run ragged’ by City.
Haaland was also asked by Norwegian TV about Cucurella, who had previously been caught on video singing: ‘Cucu, Cucurella, he eats paella, Cucu, Cucurella, he drinks Estrella, Haaland you’d better tremble as Cucurella is coming.’
The left-back was one of the Chelsea defenders who was overpowered and outplayed by Haaland for City’s opening goal.
‘It was an interesting song, that, from that guy [Cucurella],’ the striker said.
‘There’s not much to say. I don’t really think about it. He can do what he wants.
‘Last year he asked me for my jersey, and then he starts singing about me.’
