Hudson-Odoi returns to training drill just two months after surgery

Callum Hudson-Odoi has given Chelsea a huge boost after returning to training drills just two months after undergoing a surgery on his ruptured Achilles.

The 18-year-old England international posted a video clip to Twitter which showed him partaking in sharp, fast-paced drills.




And the news of Hudson-Odoi return is sure to delight Chelsea supporters, who feared the worst when the winger limped off during April’s draw against Burnley.

Hudson-Odoi wrote: “Recovery is going well, I hope to be soon be back on the pitch, let’s go!!”

The Chelsea star played 24 matches under former blues head coach Maurizio Sarri and looks set for a bright future at Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard has already completed a dream mega-money move to Real Madrid.

And Hudson-Odoi is in line to sign a new long-term deal with Chelsea after previously being linked with a move to German giants Bayern Munich.




The teenager could also be set to be given Eden Hazard’s coveted No 10 shirt.

And Blues fans appear to be very happy with the news.

One fan wrote: “SEE YA IN STARTING LINEUP AGAINST MAN UNITED BOSS.”
