Napoli star Jorginho’s mother has started following Chelsea on Instagram amid rumours the Italy international has chosen to snub Manchester City and move to Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder is one of European football’s highest rated playmakers after another remarkable season in Naples, averaging more passes per game than any other player in Italy.
He is seen as a priority signing by Pep Guardiola, who is keen to reinforce his midfield after the exit of Yaya Toure at the end of the season.
However, Jorginho is also believed to be on the transfer list of Maurizio Sarri, with the former Napoli boss still waiting to complete a move to Chelsea.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim Chelsea are preparing a £50m bid for the Italian, with Jorginho having grown extremely close to his old manager, Sarri and become an important part of ‘Sarri-ball’.
And now, Chelsea fans have discovered the Instagram account of Jorginho’s mother, which is followed by the midfielder himself, and saw that she has started following Chelsea.
Jorginho uploaded several posts to his Instagram story on Monday from aboard a flight from Sao Paulo, and reports claim he could even be jetting straight in to Heathrow.
Sarri is also believed to have arrived in London as Chelsea look to sort out his compensation package with Napoli before sacking Conte.
Conte still took charge of training on Monday at Cobham despite the uncertainty of his future.
