Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio has told Paul Pogba to leave Manchester United and to return to the Seria A club in the summer.
The Frenchman spent four years in Turin, having left Old Trafford on a free transfer in 2012. Pogba won eight trophies during his time at Juventus, including four Serie A titles.
It was his wish to return to United in 2016 but the midfielder’s fortunes have been mixed at the theatre of dreams since his £89m return.
Pogba has been linked with a return to Juventus since his exit four years ago and his comments on international duty this week that he is currently experiencing the most ‘difficult’ period of his career have done little to dampen rumours that he could leave the Red devils.
Juve were keen on re-signing Pogba before the Coronavirus pandemic hit and Marchisio, who spent 13 years there and played with him for four years, says the United ace should return to the Seria A giants.
Commenting on Paul Pogba’s latest tweet, Marchisio said the midfielder could be ‘happy again’ if he rejoined Juventus.
‘Please Paul Pogba,’ said Marchisio. ‘Come to Juventus [wink face]…you will be happy again.’

Claudio Marchisio then added a white and black flag at the end of his post, as well as a ’till the end’ hashtag.
Pogba is expected to start in France’s Nations League match against Sweden on Tuesday and the midfielder will be hoping to build up more rhythm, after playing 90 minutes against Portugal.
Pogba started only two of Manchester United’s last ten games, with Solskjaer favouring Scott McTominay and Fred instead of the 27-year-old in midfield.
