Harry Kane disclosed the conversation he had with Jude Bellingham before he took the penalty against Real Madrid.
During Bayern Munich’s 2-2 draw with Real in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday, Kane calmly converted the penalty, making it 2-1 and breaking a new Champions League record.

Prior to taking the penalty, Bellingham, Kane’s international teammate, attempted to distract him.
Kane mentioned in an interview with TNT Sports that he noticed Bellingham mumbling something while he was in the zone.
“I don’t know what he was saying. I saw him mumbling something,” he said.
“Once I’m in that moment, I’m in my zone, trying to block everyone out. I’m sure he was saying something to try to put me off.”
But, before Kane left the Allianz Arena, he revealed what Bellingham really said to him before he took the penalty.
In the mixed zone, the 30-year-old forward added: “In the moment, I didn’t know what he said but I spoke to him after and he said: ‘I know you’re going to go left of the keeper’.
“But it was nice for me because I saw the keeper go a little bit early and I put it away. Actually, on the pitch, I didn’t know what he said. I knew he was there, but I didn’t know what he said. But I went left anyway.”
Kane’s successful penalty gave his team the lead, but Vinicius Junior equalized to make it 2-2 seven minutes before the end of the match.
With this goal, the England captain has now scored 43 goals this season, marking an impressive debut season in Germany.
Next Wednesday, he aims to lead Bayern to the Champions League final as they face Real Madrid in the second leg.
This opportunity represents Kane’s sole chance at securing a major trophy this season, as Bayern conceded the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen.
