Roy Keane names ten Man Utd players Ten Hag should offload

Roy Keane is of the opinion that a minimum of ten Manchester United players should part ways with the club in the upcoming summer.

After United’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea on Wednesday evening, the team currently holds the sixth position in the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag has faced substantial criticism for his team’s inconsistent performances this season.

Keane contends that numerous members of Ten Hag’s squad lack the quality needed for a sustained place in the team, including those who joined during the Dutchman’s tenure.

In a ‘Keep, last straw or ditch’ segment on the Stick to Football podcast, Gary Neville assessed nearly every player in the current United squad. Among those listed in the ‘ditch’ category by Keane were Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Diogo Dalot, Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, Antony, Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho, and summer signing Sofyan Amrabat, who arrived on loan from Fiorentina in September.

In the ‘last straw’ category, Keane placed Andre Onana (signed in a £47 million deal from Inter in the summer), Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Scott McTominay.

Keane also expressed reservations about Marcus Rashford’s long-term future at Old Trafford.

‘I’m not sure about Marcus,’ Keane said.

‘The whole package… personality, his mood swings. He’s a talented player, but if you’re not going to work hard, and he’s having these dips every now and again, there’s all this talk about his confidence, off-the-field stuff. Just turn up every week and do the business.

‘Marcus is 26. When’s the penny going to drop for him?’
