Key Man Utd star skips FA Cup celebrations to put future in huge doubt

Casemiro was notably missing from Manchester United’s festivities after their FA Cup victory.

The Brazilian midfielder was not part of the squad at Wembley and chose to depart for a holiday with his family instead of joining his teammates in the celebrations.

This decision has fueled speculation about his potential departure from Manchester, especially with ongoing rumors of a transfer this summer.

As social media buzzed with clips and photos of the celebrating United squad, Casemiro was seen embarking on a vacation. His wife, Anna Mariana, posted an image of the family on board an aircraft, captioning it “Gone on vacation.”

Following a stellar initial season, Casemiro’s performance this year has been less impressive.

Despite the substantial salary and a long-term contract he holds from his days at Real Madrid, there’s chatter about Manchester United possibly looking to offload him to mitigate financial burdens.

The player has hit back in the face of criticism this season, reminding people of how he performed only 12 months ago. He said: “I was considered one of the best signings of the Premier League last season, and now I’m not worth anything anymore?”

Casemiro’s tenure in Manchester United’s midfield has been challenging, with the team recording their poorest league performance to date.

Rising talent Kobbie Mainoo has replaced the Brazilian in the starting lineup, reflecting Casemiro’s waning influence.

The former Real Madrid player, a multiple Champions League winner, has recently been repurposed as an emergency centre-back.

However, this role shift hasn’t bolstered his position, especially as he was part of the defense that conceded four goals in a disheartening defeat to Crystal Palace.

Commentator Jamie Carragher has hinted in the season’s latter stages that it might be time for Casemiro to explore new opportunities.

“I think Casemiro should know tonight that he should only have another three games left at the top level,” he said. “The next two league games and the cup final, then he should be thinking, I need to go to the MLS or Saudi.

“This has to stop because we are watching one of the greats of the modern time. I always remember the saying ‘leave the football before the football leaves you’. The football has left him. At this top level, he needs to call it a day at this level and move.
