Kroos stops Eden Hazard from pouring champagne into son’s mouth

Toni Kroos had to intervene during Real Madrid’s Champions League celebrations after Eden Hazard appeared to attempt to pour champagne into his son’s mouth.

Madrid’s players were celebrating their latest triumph as Vinicius Junior’s second-half goal sealed a 1-0 win over Liverpool at the Stade de France.

During their rowdy dressing room celebrations, several players at the club were spraying champagne at each other while they danced and sang.

But Hazard took it a step too far as he wanted to pour his bottle of champagne into the mouth of Kroos’ son.

Kroos, however, was standing beside the former Chelsea winger and held out his hand to stop the bottle from being poured.

The Germany international then wagged his finger at his son while he and Hazard continued to celebrate their latest success.

Kroos, meanwhile, was left furious after the final after a reporter from German television station ZDF said that Madrid were fortunate to beat Liverpool.

‘It’s not surprising that you get into trouble against Liverpool,’ Kroos said before storming off.

‘What is that a question? We’re not playing a group game somewhere, we’re playing the Champions League final.’

Kroos has now won four Champions League trophies during his time at the La Liga club, and five times during his career after his success in the competition with Bayern Munich.
