Leny Yoro speaks out on his regrets over Man Utd move

Leny Yoro has opened up about his “regrets” regarding his summer move to Manchester United.

United managed to fend off stiff competition from clubs like Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain to sign Yoro from Lille.

The Red Devils spent around £52 million plus add-ons to secure one of Europe’s most promising defensive talents. ..Continue Reading

Yoro’s initial months at Old Trafford were marred by a foot injury sustained in pre-season against Arsenal, causing him to miss 21 games during his recovery.

The Frenchman finally made his much-anticipated return during United’s 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the beginning of December, coming on as a second-half substitute.

Since then, Yoro has started two games and played 45 minutes against Bournemouth on Sunday.

In an interview with Téléfoot in France, Yoro expressed that he does not regret joining United despite his injury and the team’s on-field challenges.

He said, “No regrets about joining Manchester United.”

Le10 Sport further quote the 19-year-old defender stating, “In my head, I’d set my sights on playing abroad because that’s something I’ve always been attracted to, especially the Premier League.”

“It’s every footballer’s dream.”

Yoro explained that he talked to Raphael Varane, who left Man United in the summer after a three-year stint.

“I spoke to Varane, who gave me a lot of advice, whether in sport, in life or in this choice.” “And he had a lot to say.”

Yoro and his fellow teammates will resume their campaign on Boxing Day with a trip to Molineux Stadium to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.
