Robert Lewandowski has cooled the rumours linking him with a transfer away from Bayern Munich in the summer.
The 29-year-old striker is Bundesliga’s top scorer this campaign with 27 goals, but there is increasing speculation that this could be his final season at the club.
Reports suggest Lewandowski has instructed his agent, Pini Zahavi, to find him a new club ahead of next season.
It’s claimed the Poland international would be keen on moving to Chelsea, Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
Asked about the links with Real, Lewandowski told Polskie Radio: ‘Am I thinking about Real in terms of a transfer? No, not at all.’
Bayern Munich announced last week that Niko Kovac will become manager but the forward refused to comment on his appointment.
‘For now, I am not thinking about it. The season isn’t over,’ he said.
‘We’re focusing on what is now, under our old new coach.’
Bayern take on Madrid for a place in the Champions League final and Lewandowski is looking forward to the game.
‘If you want to win the Champions League, you have to beat the best,’ the Pole said.
‘It will definitely be a tough fight.
‘But I hope that we’ll play our brand of soccer and will be the better team.’
