Jordan Henderson has given Liverpool another injury headache and could now miss the Premier League clash with Leicester City, according to reports.
Henderson picked up an injury in England’s 2-0 defeat to Belgium in the Nations League on Sunday night and returned to Liverpool on Monday.
The Reds had hoped the player would recover in time to be in contention for Sunday’s game with Leicester, but, The Times claims that he is now expected to miss the game.
The news will come as another huge blow to Klopp as he’s already without a number of important players this weekend.
His options in midfield will be limited if Henderson is ruled out as Fabinho will miss the game with a thigh injury while Thiago Alcantara is another huge doubt and Oxlade-Chamberlain remains a long-term absentee.
Liverpool have problems in defense too as Alexander-Arnold will miss the Leicester game due to a calf injury while Joe Gomez will miss most of the campaign with a knee injury.
Van Dijk is also facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines and Rhys Williams is another concern after he picked up a hip injury while away on duty with the England U21s this week.
