Manchester City will require at least £60 million plus additional payments for Julian Alvarez, as per reports.
The 24-year-old has been with City for two seasons and netted 19 goals last season for Pep Guardiola’s team, who finished with a record fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Alvarez participated in 54 matches across all competitions and ranked eighth among City’s outfield players in terms of minutes played throughout the season.
However, The Athletic notes that the Argentine international seeks more playing time at City and is considering a departure during the summer transfer window.
The report indicates that City will not obstruct Alvarez’s move but are asking for a £60m transfer fee, along with £17m in add-ons.
It is also mentioned that Alvarez and his family would rather live in a warmer location than Manchester.
Atletico Madrid has shown interest in signing Alvarez this summer but are reluctant to meet City’s price demands.
There might be an opportunity for Alvarez to stay in the Premier League, as reports from Argentina last month suggested Chelsea were contemplating a transfer.
Arsenal has also been connected with Alvarez as Mikel Arteta aims to include a versatile forward in his squad following their second-place finish behind City last season.
Alvarez participated in five matches for Argentina during their triumphant Copa America campaign this summer and is currently representing the national team at the Olympics in Paris.
He will be given an extended break and is expected to miss the start of the new season with City, who face Manchester United in the Community Shield on August 10 and then travel to Chelsea for their Premier League opener on August 18.
When asked about his situation at City last month, Alvarez told ESPN: ‘A lot is being said about my future but I’m calm. I’m comfortable and happy at Manchester City. We’ll see what happens.’
