Man Utd fans destroy player on social media after humiliating 3-0 loss to Bournemouth

Manchester United fans criticized the same player on social media after their 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth, marking the second consecutive season of such a result.

Despite having a new manager, Ruben Amorim, who replaced Erik ten Hag, Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth once again got the better of United, with goals from Dean Huijsen, Justin Kluivert, and Antoine Semenyo.

Several United players underperformed at Old Trafford, but it was striker Joshua Zirkzee who received harsh online criticism.

The summer signing was blamed for allowing Huijsen an unchallenged header for the first goal and contributed little during his 54-minute stint before being substituted for Rasmus Hojlund.

United fans again questioned why the club paid £36 million for Zirkzee in the summer.

One fumed: “Zirkzee is simply the worst ever. Can’t pass, can’t dribble, can’t shoot, can’t defend, sh*t*movement, lazy, slow, weak, loses the ball all the time, can’t head the ball despite being built like an NBA player.”

Another said: “Zirkzee is unfortunately worse than the super washed version of Martial.”

A second said: “Zirkzee plays like he’s just woken up makes no sense.”

A fourth posted: “Zirkzee you are 6 foot 4 how can you not win a single aerial duel.”

A fifth wrote: “Zirkzee another dude whose bad games ABSOLUTELY REEK. F**ing hell he doesn’t look like a footballer.”

After being signed by United from Bologna, Zirkzee committed to a five-year contract and has netted four goals in 24 appearances across all competitions.

Due to his difficulties adapting to English football, there are strong rumors linking him with a potential return to Italy.

United are set to play Wolverhampton Wanderers on Boxing Day (26 December) in their next fixture.
