An insider from Manchester United has disclosed the team’s sentiments regarding rumors that Erik ten Hag might be dismissed post-FA Cup final.
As Manchester United gears up for the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium against Manchester City, Erik ten Hag is under increasing scrutiny after a lackluster 2023/24 season performance.

A victory against their city rivals could redeem the season for the Red Devils, who ended the Premier League in eighth position.
However, reports suggest that the decision on Ten Hag’s tenure at Old Trafford might be sealed, irrespective of the outcome against Pep Guardiola’s team.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly evaluating candidates to succeed Ten Hag, with Thomas Tuchel, Kieran McKenna, and Mauricio Pochettino, who recently parted ways with Chelsea, believed to be in contention for the role should Ten Hag be dismissed.
Echoing the situation of his compatriot Louis van Gaal, who was let go as Man United’s manager in 2016 despite an FA Cup win, Ten Hag faces a precarious future.
The Daily Mail reports that the revelation of Ten Hag’s potential sacking after a two-year stint did not come as a shock to the players.
Since acquiring a minority share of the club, Ratcliffe has withheld any public endorsement of Ten Hag’s leadership.
And the 54-year-old was asked if he plans to meet INEOS after the final to which he said: “No, we already did and on Sunday I will go on holiday – I deserve it.
“It is not necessary (to have assurances), we’ll go for next season.
“Of course, we are together. Since January, (INEOS) have been part of this club and they want us to win trophies.”
Ten Hag, who steered Manchester United to a Carabao Cup triumph in the previous season, aspires to clinch the FA Cup. However, even a win against Manchester City might not secure his managerial position.
