The Red Devils have had a disappointing start to the 2024/25 season, with manager Erik ten Hag struggling to get the best performances from his squad.

As a result, doubts have emerged about whether Ten Hag is the right person to continue leading the team.
According to the Manchester Evening News, it was revealed on Monday that United have arranged for three academy players to join Swiss club Lausanne-Sport for training this week.
The report stated: “Habeeb Ogunneye, Jack Kingdon and Ethan Williams flew to Switzerland on Monday morning and the three youngsters will get the opportunity to train with Lausanne’s first team.”
The three players, all aged 18, have earned the opportunity to train with the Swiss top-tier club, thanks to their standout performances in Manchester United’s academy.
Lausanne-Sport currently sits in 10th place in the Swiss Super League, having secured eight points from nine games. They are two points ahead of the last-place team, Young Boys, and one point clear of Winterthur.
Lausanne-Sport is owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who became a minority stakeholder at Manchester United this year after reaching a deal with the Glazer family.
Ratcliffe and his INEOS group acquired Lausanne-Sport in 2017, and there is an agreement between the Swiss club and United to allow young players the chance to gain experience abroad.
In the meantime, Manchester United’s senior players will return to club duty this week after the international break.
Erik ten Hag and his squad will be looking to turn their season around as they face Brentford at Old Trafford in the Premier League this weekend.
