Manchester United have now released a statement after Mason Greenwood’s girlfriend accused the attacker of domestic violence.

Harriet Robson uploaded a number of pictures & audio recordings to her Instagram on Sunday, with the caption: ‘To everyone who wants to know what Mason Greenwood actually does to me.’

Robson is seen with bruises & cuts on her body which she claims were caused by United winger Greenwood.

Audio from another recording appears to show someone, who Robson refers to as ‘Mason’, forcing her to have sex.

The Red devils have released a statement in which they said they do not ‘condone violence of any kind’ & will make no comment until the ‘facts have been established’.

The Premier League club said: ‘We are aware of images and allegations circulating on social media.

‘We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established. Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind.’

Greater Manchester Police added: ‘We are aware of images and videos circulating on social media. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.’

Charity Women’s Aid issued a statement in response to the claims: ‘Distressing posts being circulated on social media today #MasonGreenwood.

‘It is essential that all employers, including those in football, take domestic abuse very seriously and we hope Man Utd do in this case.

‘Solidarity with Harriet Robson. #FootballUnitedAgainstDomesticViolence.’

Greenwood has scored 35 goals in 129 games for United and made his England debut in 2020.
