Dewsbury-Hall celebrated a rare start by scoring in Chelsea’s 5-1 victory over Shamrock Rovers in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
However, he has played just 55 minutes in the Premier League and has appeared in only two of the last 11 matchday squads.
Despite his limited playing time at Chelsea, Dewsbury-Hall impressed under Maresca at Leicester last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 14 assists as the Foxes won the Championship, turning down interest from other clubs to join Chelsea.
When asked if Dewsbury-Hall might seek regular football elsewhere in January, Maresca stated that he could not rule out a potential departure.
“Unfortunately I cannot say that Dewsbury-Hall is not for sale,” he said after the win over Shamrock Rovers.
“Not only about Kiernan, but the whole squad. When the window is open, anything can happen.”
Chelsea’s victory secured a perfect record of six wins in the league phase, allowing the Blues to advance to the Round of 16.
Despite this success, Maresca emphasized that his squad remains focused and grounded as they aim to win the trophy this season.
‘I think now that we are in the next round we have to be focused on the next round, and then if we are able to win, go on to the next one. Thinking about playing the final or winning the competition when there is still six games to go to reach the final, I don’t think that is correct.’
