Monaco invite bids for Thomas Lemar

Monaco appear to have opened the door for clubs to make move for French Thomas Lemar in the summer.

The France international has severally been linked with a move away from Monaco, with Arsenal and Liverpool linked with moves for the 22-year-old.

Arsenal made a stunning £92m bid for Lemar in January, as they attempted to replace Alexis Sanchez with him, and he has also been linked with Manchester City.

But, Lemar rejected the move and speculation has since died down regarding his future.

Monaco’s vice-president, Vadim Vasiley, spoke to Telefoot about their summer transfer plans, and he appeared to have told interested clubs that they can make a bid when the window reopens.

“A few hours after the match against Paris is not the time to talk about the transfer window,” he said. “But good luck to those who want him.
“He’s worth a lot.”

Monaco were thrashed 7-1 by PSG on Sunday as they secured the Ligue 1 title.

Thomas Lemar has made 33 appearances in all competitions for the club this campaign, scoring three goals and assisting eight.
