Jose Mourinho names best young player in the world

Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has named Real Madrid’s star as the best young player in the world right now.

Just three days into the European Championships in Germany, Real Madrid’s players have made a remarkable impression.

In the tournament’s opening game, Germany’s Toni Kroos and Antonio Rudiger faced Scotland, with Kroos delivering an impressive four key passes.

On the second day, Luka Modric and Dani Carvajal clashed, with the Spanish full-back not only helping La Roja secure a win but also scoring their third goal.

Day three saw Jude Bellingham continue Real Madrid’s streak of success, netting a decisive header for England against Serbia.

In a recent interview, former Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho praised several of the club’s stars playing in Germany, starting with Jude Bellingham.

Mourinho highlighted Bellingham’s crucial goal against Serbia in England’s opening match as a standout performance.

“For me, Jude Bellingham is now the best young player in the world. Looking into the future and just imagining what he can become in a few years,” he told Phillipp Kessler (h/t The Madrid Zone) heaping praise on the midfielder.

Mourinho then gave his views on Toni Kroos, with the Euros being the last tournament for the legend before he hung his boots.

“I think Toni Kroos didn’t get enough credit for the player he is. For me, he is absolutely an amazing player.”

The Fenerbahçe manager then expressed his sadness, noting that the current European Championship marks the end of an unforgettable era for many iconic players.

“To watch Euros with sadness? Because I believe Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo, it is the last Euro for them. And I say sadness because players like them we don’t see many times.”

“In the case of Cristiano and Modric, football was nice to them and gave them the pride of being considered the best in the world in some moments,” he added.
