Jose Mourinho is eager to bring a Manchester United star to his team this summer, with the Turkish club reportedly close to securing a deal.
While Premier League clubs have wrapped up their incoming transfers in January, players can still leave for leagues where the transfer window remains open, such as the Turkish Super Lig, which allows transfers until 13 September.

Galatasaray has already capitalized on this opportunity by securing Victor Osimhen on a sensational loan from Napoli, after his potential moves to Chelsea and Saudi Arabia fell through last week.
According to reports from Turkey, Galatasaray’s archrival Fenerbahce is looking to make a major signing in response.
Turkish outlet Fotomac reports that Fenerbahce is keen on signing Antony, with discussions currently underway with Manchester United for a loan deal involving the Brazilian winger.
The report even hints that an agreement could be reached as soon as Wednesday night.
Antony, who was signed from Ajax for £85 million in the summer of 2022, has played just one minute this season and is currently the fourth-choice winger behind Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Amad Diallo.
Although Antony has been determined to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford, Fenerbahce hopes that the presence of former United manager Mourinho will help them secure this late signing.
Antony’s only minute of action this season came off the bench against Brighton. He struggled during his second season at the club, managing just one goal and one assist in the Premier League.
This report emerges alongside speculation that Galatasaray has made an offer to sign Casemiro from United on a season-long loan.
The former Real Madrid midfielder had a poor performance against Liverpool last Sunday, where he was at fault for two first-half goals and was substituted at halftime for 20-year-old Toby Collyer.
Although the 32-year-old has started United’s first three games of the season, his position in the squad may be at risk following the arrival of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain.
