Victor Osimhen has previously addressed the possibility of a move to the Premier League and Manchester United amid reports of an imminent bid.

However, with the January transfer window approaching, reports suggest that Osimhen could secure a permanent move away from Napoli.
It is believed that the 25-year-old has a mid-season break clause in his loan deal with Galatasaray, allowing him to transfer to a new club.
According to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Manchester United are preparing a significant bid to meet Osimhen’s £62 million (€75 million) release clause in order to bring him to Old Trafford.
In addition to United, Chelsea and French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in signing Osimhen.
Osimhen has frequently been linked with a Premier League move in recent years due to his impressive performances at Napoli.
To date, the striker has scored 76 goals in 133 appearances across all competitions for the Italian club.
In 15 matches for Galatasaray this season, the 25-year-old has netted 12 goals.
Back in 2022, Osimhen was being linked with a move to Old Trafford, when asked about the transfer, he told Italian outlet Il Mattino: “It’s one of the best clubs in Europe and I want to win here (Napoli). The future is this moment, try to win something relevant in Italy.
“It’s hard to think about something better than Napoli, one of the best clubs in Italy, right now I am only focused on this season because we haven’t done anything yet. We must win something and then we’ll see what happens.”
When asked about Premier League last year, Osimhen told Corriere Della Sera: “I think it is an ambition of all players. And who knows, one day.
“Right now, I assure you, it doesn’t even cross my mind. It would distract me from a beautiful season. [I’m thinking of] Only Napoli.”
