Cole Palmer shared a bold three-word statement on Instagram following Chelsea’s Club World Cup triumph — a moment that unexpectedly featured U.S. President Donald Trump during the trophy celebration.

Palmer bagged two goals in New Jersey, while Joao Pedro added a stylish third to put the Blues firmly in control before halftime.

PSG ended the match with ten men, as Joao Neves was shown a red card for yanking Marc Cucurella’s hair in the closing minutes.

After the final whistle, the spotlight shifted to Trump’s surprise involvement — he handed out medals and presented the trophy to Chelsea captain Reece James.

Rather than stepping away post-presentation, Trump remained on stage during the celebrations, despite Gianni Infantino’s apparent efforts to guide him off, essentially becoming part of the festivities.

Speaking to reporters afterward, Palmer admitted he was “a little bit confused” about the U.S. President’s lingering presence on stage.

The midfielder later posted on Instagram, featuring a photo of himself proudly lifting the trophy — noticeably without Trump in the frame.

His caption, stark and defiant, read: “Doubt us now.”

In addition to speaking at the press conference, Palmer also gave a post-match pitchside interview to DAZN, where the broadcaster quickly had to apologize for profanity aired during the segment.

The England international stated ‘everyone has talked a lot of s**t about us all season’, before adding: “It’s a great feeling [to win the trophy]. Even better because everyone doubted us before the game, we knew that.

“To put a fight on like we did, it’s good. I like finals. It’s happened again.

“The gaffer put a great gameplan out. He knew where the space was going to be. He tried to free me up as much as possible, and I just had to repay him and score some goals.”

Palmer added: “He is building something special, something important.”
