Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has disclosed his preference for the Premier League champion as Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool vied for supremacy.
In a nail-biting championship contest, Manchester City clinched their fourth consecutive Premier League title, marking their sixth victory in seven years, despite stiff competition from Arsenal and Liverpool.

Arsenal aimed to break a two-decade drought for the title, pushing the contest to the season’s last matchday, but ultimately came up short, even with an impressive 89-point tally.
Liverpool remained contenders until the season’s final weeks before their challenge waned, culminating in a third-place finish, nine points adrift of Manchester City, during Jurgen Klopp’s last campaign at Anfield.
Palmer, who transferred to Chelsea the previous summer, might have contributed to yet another title for Manchester City. He expresses no remorse over his move and conveys his contentment at witnessing his ex-team’s successful title defense.
‘I was hoping Man City would win the title as I have got a lot of friends there, so I’m glad that they did it,’ Palmer told The Sun. ‘But there’s no regrets at all for the decision I took.’
Despite a modest tally of six goals in 41 matches for Manchester City, Cole Palmer has become one of the Premier League’s standout performers this season.
The young 22-year-old forward has been a revelation, netting 22 goals and providing 11 assists across 33 league matches. His remarkable performance shone through in a Chelsea team that struggled for consistency, hovering in the middle of the table for much of the season before a late surge propelled them to a sixth-place finish.
Palmer’s exceptional season earned him the accolade of Premier League Young Player of the Season and a spot in Gareth Southgate’s preliminary squad for Euro 2024.
With the England manager set to trim his 33-man squad by at least seven players next week, Palmer is eager to secure his place and join the England team for the tournament in Germany this summer.
‘I’ll play anywhere to be involved, I don’t mind where,’ he insisted. ‘But if not, it is what it is. I couldn’t really have done any more.
‘I want to be on that plane rather than going off on holidays. I have done a lot with the Under-21s so hopefully now it’s the time to step up.
‘I think it’s a squad that can go far because it looks like a good team. I don’t see why England can’t go the whole way.
‘They’ve got to semis and finals recently and been unlucky. So that’s shown they can go all the way in tournaments, now they just need to go and win it.’
Palmer will be playing under a new manager next campaign after Mauricio Pochettino’s surprise exit from Stamford Bridge.
