With six Premier League goals already in the 2024/25 season, he’s determined to maintain his strong performance as he aims to be a key player for both England and his club.
While the 2024 Ballon d’Or race is expected to be a close contest between Palmer’s former City teammate Rodri and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior, Palmer remains hopeful about his chances.
Known for his confidence in interviews, Palmer shared his thoughts on what it takes to win football’s top individual honor.
“It was a surprise to be recognised at that level so early in my career”, he told an interview with The Telegraph.
“It’s a huge honour. Winning it would be brilliant, and I believe with hard work and consistency I could get there.”
