Peter Crouch blasts Man Utd players with Chelsea comparison

Peter Crouch has slammed some of Manchester United’s players for undermining Ralf Rangnick and ka bono their frustrations in public.

Rangnick has endured a tricky few weeks on and off the pitch in recent months with several reports of a dressing room unrest surface.

Jesse Lingard recently took to Twitter to explain why he missed United’s FA Cup defeat to Middlesbrough after disagreeing with Rangnick explaining the midfielder had asked to take some time off.

Last month, Anthony Martial denied the manager’s claim he refused to be included in their squad for the Premier League draw with Aston Villa.

United players airing their grievances in public has not gone well with Crouch, who feels the club’s next permanent manager has a huge job on his hands when they take charge in the summer.

‘My worry has been with the players this season, a lot of people have talked about body language and attitude and these things in the dressing room you don’t like to hear,’ he said on BT Sport before tonight’s United vs Burnley clash.

‘Whoever comes in and takes that role after Rangnick this season has got a real job on his hands to make a harmonious dressing room again

‘When things go wrong there are arms thrown, people tweeting and coming out on Twitter and sort of undermining the manager.

‘It’s Manchester United, that should not be happening!’
